It was sold as a standard lens on many cameras &#8211; Zorki-3, 3M, 4, 4K, Leningrad, Drug and some others. This lens is a copy of a famous Zeiss Sonnar 50\/2.<\/p>\n<p>It was produced in both LTM and Contax\/Kiev mount and proved to be one of the most successful Soviet lenses.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Focal length\u00a0 52.3 mm<\/li>\n<li>Aperture\u00a0 1:2 (settings from 2 to 22)<\/li>\n<li>Focusing 1 m &#8211; infinity<\/li>\n<li>Filter size M40.5&#215;0.5 mm<\/li>\n<li>Optical registration (back focus) 28.8 +\/-0.02 mm<\/li>\n<li>Mount\u00a0 M39x1 mm (LTM). The lens mounts and RF couples with any Leica or Leica copy (FED, Zorki etc.)<\/li>\n<li>The glass is coated; the barrel has a polished aluminum\/chrome finish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This Jupiter-8 was made in 1960&#8217;s. It is in EXC- condition, the glass is clear with some cleaning marks on the outside elements<br \/>\n(they are minor and will not affect image quality).<\/p>\n<p>The lens is shown mounted on a Leica IIIA (not included).
