I have had a chance to run a roll of 100TMax through my Zorki-6. I am very happy with the results. I had a bit of trouble learning how to get the uptake spool to grab the film. It required a bit of practice. I did the Sunny-16 thing to guess exposure settings. I am committed to learning to do this without a light meter. Then developed the film myself. I haven't done that in 35 years! The pictures were in focus and properly exposed (OK a teeny bit over-exposed. I just need practice with the Sunny-16 rules). The pictures are sharp and in focus, the b&w is dramatic and satisfying and the bokeh on the Jupiter-8 is lovely. Scanned them in and the digitals are great.
As an added bonus, I found for street photography that people find the camera so interesting that they happily agree to a photo and then talk to me about the camera.
When I first received the camera, I thought that the timer did not work. I wrote to Fedka, told him that I would be away on a business trip but that I was worried. He answered me in one day and told me to test it further when I returned. I was very impressed with his rapid response, concern and flexibility. Turns out that the timer does work.Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]
