Industar-22, 50/3.5, Elmar Type, Black Finish

Russian Industar-22 lens in Leica Thereadmount.

The Industar-22 design was "borrowed" from Leitz Elmar. It was an improved version of a prewar collapsible FED lens (also known as Industar-10). This particular Industar-22 is refinished in tough black enamel; it looks amazingly nice, with all engravings clearly visible. This lens can be a great match for a black Leica body or for a Voigtlander Bessa cameras.

The Industar-22 was a standard lens on the early Zorki cameras (Zorki, Zorki-S, some of Zorki-2S') and was also a popular enlarger lens in the USSR in the 1960's.

  • Focal length: 50 mm, coated glass
  • Maximum aperture - 1:3.5 (settings from 3.5 to 16).
  • The lens couples with a RF of any threadmount Leica or Leica copy

The lens is shown mounted on a Leica IIIa (not included).
