This flash unit was made in 1985 by a Vilnius plant in Lithuania. The flash was quite expensive for its time, 50 roubles. Not sure who would buy such an ugly thing, but people did not have much choice. The flash has a hot shoe and PC synch cable, tilt/swivel head, rechargeable battery and came with a power supply/charger.
This item is a collectible or curiosity item, do not try using it. The flash is old, intended for 220V, and it would be unsafe to try to power it up.
The flash comes with a manual in Russian and Lithuanian, which is a typical document produced by a military plant - it even contains the schematic and bill of materials of the flash!
