A classic Soviet Leica copy - Zorki-2S (S for Sync). It was the most advanced Leica-style Zorki. Zorki-S is almost identical to the original Zorki (Leica II (D) copy), but it adds a flash synch mechanism with the adjustable synch timing advance (from 0 to 30 ms). Also, the shutter speed can be selected before of after the film is wound and the shutter is cocked. Zorki-2S body was cast, which made the camera more rigid than its predecessor, Zorki type1. Zorki-2S also has two nice features missing in the earlier model, Zorki-S. It adds a self-timer and strap lugs. As any Zorki, it accepts (and RF couples to) any lens in Leica threadmount.
- Shutter speeds - B, 1/25, 1/50, 1/100, 1/250, 1/500
The camera was made in 1956 at Krasnogorsk plant. It is in EXC- condition cosmetically,
no brassing, the leatherette is intact. There are some minor paint scuffs on
the edges. The shutter works on all speeds. The rangefinder and viewfinder are
clear and sharp. The self-timer is working properly. This Zorki-2S body comes
with a take-up spool (often missing).
